I don't know but ever since Sans Geebins (Thanksgiving) time seems to fly right by. I can't believe that we're in February already! Damn. I really haven't had much time to update this. Seems like this year is going to be one of my busiest years yet and I'm completely ready for it. Stand in my way, and yes, you will get knocked the f..down :)

I'm so glad I already filed for my taxes, got that off my to-do list. Made an appointment for Sophie to see a pediatric gastroenterologist, I suspect she might be allergic to Gluten..I pray that she's not but she has a lot of the signs of Celiac Disease. I can't even begin to imagine the nightmare this is going to be, It's bad enough she's allergic to the protein in Cow's milk. This little girl loves to eat! Any and everything you give her! Just to give you a little idea of what I'm talking about,

"If you have celiac disease and eat foods with gluten, your immune system responds by damaging the small intestine. Gluten is a protein in wheat, rye and barley. It is found mainly in foods but may also be in other products like medicines, vitamins and even the glue on stamps and envelopes." 

  

Lil Miss Thang

I have to start a sketch of the groom's cake I'm making for Jean. I know it's going to be poker/Vegas themed. It only makes sense to incorporate those two; He loves poker and he proposed in Vegas. I also have to go find a dress,shoes,hair ties for Sophia for the wedding. And lets not forget my dress alterations, because even though it was custom made to my exact measurements, it doesn't fit because of the weight I've lost in the past 3 or 4 months. Yay go me! I don't know the exact number  but I can tell you I went about 3 sizes down in shirts and about 4 in pants. Oh it's so much easier to shop at stores now. haha I need to stay away from the mall. I also have to get shoes,decide how I'm going to wear this dress (there's 50+ ways to wear it!),do my hair, help my mother find a dress for herself. 

Que fajas, ni que fajas.

This weekend I'm supposed to help my sister paint her house.This past weekend I helped her do some spring cleaning and we didn't even cover 20% of the house..ah the horror that awaits us! After the wedding, my mother is supposed to be moving, so we have to repack our lives and find a new place.

 All while this is going on, I'm trying to figure out whats the best school to go to with the best curriculum for either Culinary or Pastry Arts. It's astonishing to me that Miami has a myriad of places where you can indulge in some of the best tasting food but doesn't have a variety of schools where you can go to and learn how to master your skills in the kitchen. Tsk tsk Miami, tsk tsk.  (note to self :This is another reason why I must get out of here)

Got A Lot of Things To Do.

I don't even know where to start.
There's so much to do in the next 6 weeks its crazy.
This week has been dedicated to getting my new social security card. I needed a new one because NY state has refused to give me a NY state ID  because they say my second last name doesn't come out on my SS card. They're such a pain in the ass.
I took my passport pictures today and tomorrow I get my passport at the agency here in Miami. I'm so lucky because if it weren't for that agency being here in Miami, I probably wouldn't be going on the cruise. I have to get a couple things for the cruise and then I'll be ready to go! Vacations = <3.

This past week I was at my sisters house and we attended two kids birthday parties!
One for our friends daughter who was turning one and the other for my sister godson, and Sophie's future husband, who was turning two!
I remember when that little peanut was born and how much hair he had. Now it's like he's a grown little man. Sophia had a blast and was worn out by the time we got home.

On Monday we went to do wedding planning things.
Slowly but surely my sister is turning into Bridezilla and Jean's not far behind.
I'm not saying she's being a major bitch but she's getting more irritated and stressed with all the decisions and revisions of so many important things. I don't blame her, theres so much money and time put into this.
I don't know if I'll ever have a wedding like hers. I just think they're too much damn money for such a short amount of time.

So I ordered this drink called Absinthe-Minded, (Absinthe,Cointreau,Sweet Vermouth) It's pretty strong and everyone kept asking me what drink was that. I gave my grandfather some to taste and this was his reaction..hahah Priceless!

Guess who's back...

I've had so much going on in the past couple months that I neglected this little baby.
I'd like to try and blog a little more in the upcoming months.

At the end of this month I'm going on my first cruise EVER! My sister is getting married and her bachelorette  party is a 3 day cruise to some place in the Bahamas..how exciting. :D

The wedding is in less than two months. It feels like it was yesterday that I met Jean! Damn time flies by.

Oh and the little Sophie is turning TWO in a couple months also. She can count up to four. Loves to have conversations with others, (we of course can't understand everything she says, but she is speaking more clearly every day.) loves, loves to dance her butt off. To ANYTHING. You can cough a couple times and she'll start dancing to your cough. Her laugh is so toxic. She's also way into her terrible twos. I can't wait until they're over, they make me want to rip my hair out.

So much...too much in fact...

So much has happened since the last time I wrote in here.

Little Ms. Sophie turned ONE year old..yes already!

Two days later my sister graduated from UM! FINALLY! she's done with school!

My sister also got ENGAGED in VEGAS! So romantic and cheesy I love it. lol

Wedding is in February so we're all in wedding planning mode.

Sophia and I left Gary's parents house.

I could NOT fucking stand one more second there.

Shortly afterwards Gary got an apartment. YES! 

We FINALLY have our own place to call home.

 We came to Miami and are still here for another month or so.

I'm so ready to go back to NY. I miss it and we miss papa too.

One of my best friends lives there now so the world will be so much better now that I have her there. FINALLY a real family member close to me<3

I also started working from home and I'm so excited to go back to school. I have to figure out a plan for that though, and at the moment with work meetings in Miami,living in NY, being a bridesmaid for my sisters wedding which will be in Miami,Sophia and Gary..it's kind of impossible.

I'm just hoping for a smooth ride on this bumpy ass road.

I haven't had a phone for over a week, and I don't really miss it that much because I skype with Gary and make quick calls to whoever I need to speak with on my moms phone. I now understand why my friend Henry uses a prepaid..sometimes you just don't wanna hear from people. Lol.

Anyways I'm trying to get back into writing more and reading. I'm so bad at reading books, I'm reading like THREE at once. My head is all over the place. I have one of my great dear friends Steph coming to stay with me for a week+ my birthday :) oh yes that's on August 3rd. I'm very excited for my birthday this year. Great amazing festivities are being planned as I type...not really but we do have an amazing shindig planned.

Once I transfer all my pictures onto my computer then I will post some on here. 

I hope I remember to write in this with this crazy life schedule..
